Busta Ryhmes Brings Out Leaders Of The New School For Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival
Legendary emcee Busta Rhymes, headlined the eighth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, which takes place this weekend.
You may recall that Busta also shut it down at last years festival, when he bought out Q-Tip and Kanye West.
Well, yesterday was another monumental year, when Busta took it back to his roots, and bought his group The Leaders Of The New School.
For our younger hip hop fans who may not know, Busta began his career as one-third of the The Leaders Of The New School, in the early 1990’s.
The group released two albums, however disbanded in 1994, following a host of conflicts within the group.
They have not performed together since that time, so to see them hit the stage together was beyond incredible.
In the video clip, courtesy of website allhiphop.com, Busta performs with the legendary Buck Shot, Slick Rick, and his group Leaders Of The New School (LON’S).
This is incredible, because you can still witness the outstanding energy which the group seems to still posses over 20 years later.
